As a Plumbing Service Technician, Assist and learn how to service residential plumbing systems in accordance with the company’s approved operating practices and with the highest level of customer care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:

Follow all company policies and procedures.
Purchase all required tools as listed for an apprentice.
Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude while maintaining company uniform from head to toe.
Support the service repairs of plumbing fixtures, pipes, and appliances under supervision.
Assist in diagnosing and fixing plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and drainage problems.
Gather tools, materials, and equipment for plumbing tasks and maintain a clean work environment.
Follow plumbing blueprints with guidance.
Assist in inspecting plumbing systems to identify potential issues or needed repairs.
Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Willingness to engage in self-study and attend training seminars for continuous improvement.
Provide basic updates and information to customers regarding work performed and recommendations.
Assist in monitoring and managing tools and material inventory, reporting needs to supervisors.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in plumbing.
Collaborate effectively with other plumbing staff and tradespeople on job sites.
Communicate to the dispatcher when arriving and leaving the job site.
Perform all job site duties, including cleaning of job site, restocking of truck materials, and disposal of used equipment/materials.
Develop skills to properly interact with clients per company’s standard operating practices.
Develop skills to educate customers on additional products or services available through the company.
Use of company vehicles, tools, equipment, parts, and materials is strictly for company jobs only.
Promptly reports any problems with company vehicle or tools.
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Able to Pass Background Check & Drug Screen.
Ability to Lift a Minimum of 50 lbs.
Work from 32′ extension ladder and 12′ step ladder.

High School Diploma or GED:

Basic educational requirement.
Understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in plumbing.
Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in confined spaces.
Possess willingness to learn the ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
Good verbal and written communication for interacting with clients and team members.
Attention to

Precision in measurements, installation, and repairs.
Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to retain and use knowledge & skills in the field.
Commitment to developing & using customer service skills.
Knowledge of Plumbing Fittings.
