Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations’ team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking to hire a Plumber to join our self-perform team for ongoing work in Pensacola, FL. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specifically to the military base. Our Plumbers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of plumbing principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Pay:

$19.76 – 42.00 per hour

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. as minimal education
• An active journeyman, master’s, or an apprenticeship card for Louisiana but other states are acceptable
• 2 years of documented experience with an apprenticeship card
• 5 years of related experience, hold an active journeyman’s or master’s license with the state of Louisiana or from another state
• Knowledge of site utility work
• OSHA 10 certification Preferences for this position include:
• Equipment operating experience
• Experience working on a government project
