This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards to support reliable water distribution and drainage systems. The technician plays a key role in maintaining the functionality and safety of plumbing infrastructure while minimizing operational costs. ___________________________________________________________

Responsibilities Plumbing Installation & Maintenance:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, hot water tanks, valves, drains, and other plumbing components to ensure proper functionality.

System Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Locate and diagnose plumbing issues, applying industry knowledge and adhering to local codes and the National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC).

Preventive Maintenance & Emergency Response:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prepare facilities for occupancy, while responding promptly to plumbing emergencies as needed.

Work Order & Contractor Coordination:

Prioritize, schedule, and follow up on work orders, coordinating with outside contractors when necessary to complete repairs efficiently.

Inventory & Documentation:

Maintain proper inventory of plumbing supplies, order necessary parts, and keep accurate records of completed assignments and system conditions. ___________________________________________________________

Requirements Plumbing Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience as a Plumbing Technician, performing installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Valid Driver’s License:

Must hold a valid Ohio Driver’s License, maintain a safe driving record, and carry automobile liability insurance.

Tools & Equipment:

Required to have personal basic hand tools necessary for performing plumbing-related tasks.

Preferred License:

A Plumbing License is preferred.

Preferred Certification:
