Duties:

• Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Assemble and disassemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus but not required
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems
• Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in troubleshooting plumbing issues and making necessary repairs
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment effectively
• Assist in construction plumbing projects, including new builds and renovations

Skills:

• Strong ability to assemble and disassemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Solid understanding of basic math calculations for measuring and cutting pipes accurately
• Ability to maintain a clean work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment effectively
• Familiarity with construction plumbing practices for new builds and renovations
