This individual will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and irrigation infrastructure across our facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of water systems, efficient troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair plumbing systems including water lines, sewer lines, and fixtures
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems including valves, timers, controllers, and sprinkler heads
- Identify and resolve water pressure, drainage, and leakage issues
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand layout and system components
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Respond to emergency repair calls as needed
- Collaborate with other maintenance and landscaping team members as required
- All other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Experience:
Proven experience in plumbing and/or irrigation maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred) Working knowledge of water systems, tools, and materials used in plumbing/irrigation work Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
