Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Service Tech Plumber who is well-versed in new construction plumbing. The ideal candidate can handle day-to-day service calls while also executing full plumbing installations on new residential and/or commercial builds. You’ll work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality work that meets code and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rough-in and top-out installations for new construction projects. Run service calls to diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, water heater problems, and fixture malfunctions. Read blueprints and building plans to lay out systems correctly from the start. Install water supply lines, drainage systems, water heaters, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures. Troubleshoot issues on-site and recommend effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Communicate clearly with project managers, inspectors, homeowners, and general contractors. Keep a clean, organized job site and maintain company tools and vehicles.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of plumbing experience, including both service work and new construction. Valid plumbing license or journeyman certification (if required by state). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, code requirements, and common plumbing tools. Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the fly. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces or elevated areas. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude. Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required): Gas line installation experience. Backflow certification. Familiarity with smart plumbing systems and tankless water heaters.
