First year Roto-Rooter drain service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000, on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience earning on average between $60,000-$75,000 a year.
Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumber’s license. Experienced Journeyman Plumbers at Roto Rooter earn between $100,000 and $150,000 working 40 hours per week!
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Plumber apprentice technicians use their skills to troubleshoot and provide solutions to residential and commercial sewer and drain problems.
Unclog and clean drains and sewers using Roto-Rooter provided equipment and tools.
Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a company provided smartphone.
Use the plumbing skills learned during our plumbing school training taught by certified field trainers.
Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

Candidates are required to have an apprentice plumbing license.
A valid driver’s license.
Effective communication skills.
A mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills
