Plumber Blue Arbor New Bern, NC 28564 Busy plumbing company is seeking an
EXPERIENCED
plumber to join their team!! The ideal candidate has over 5 years experience, and is able e to read plans, complete new homes, slabs and crawl space with no supervision. Service calls, trouble shoot issues and correct the problem. Must have great customer service skills, and a clean background. Starting pay for this position will be $21/hr. Company has great benefits if you go permanently. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water supply, drainage, and heating systems. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion. Perform remodeling tasks involving plumbing adjustments or installations as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics relevant to plumbing work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices. Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
