Plumber-Helper Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Plumber. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work alongside experienced plumbers to learn the trade and gain valuable hands-on experience. This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth and advancement in the plumbing industry.

Duties:

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Learn to build and assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure proper installation
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues
• Perform basic math calculations for measuring and cutting pipes
• Gain knowledge of mechanical systems and their components
• Learn to weld and solder pipes as needed
• Assist with general maintenance person tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Reliable transportation to job sites
