Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. As a Plumbing Technician at Premier Commercial Plumbing, you will be responsible for performing a range of plumbing tasks, from installing new systems to troubleshooting and repairing existing ones. You will work on a variety of commercial properties, ensuring that all plumbing systems comply with safety regulations and operate at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water systems. Diagnose and troubleshooting plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pressure problems. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades. Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all work is performed according to local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Provide customers with clear communication regarding the scope of work, repair options, and estimated costs. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including invoices and service reports. Assist in the training and mentoring of apprentices and junior technicians. Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a plumbing technician, with a focus on commercial plumbing. Strong understanding of plumbing systems and local codes. Ability to work with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to work on-call or overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces. Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
