To excel in this position you should have strong technical skills, be a master at troubleshooting and enjoy dealing with people. Responsibilities for Drain Cleaning Tech Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device Perform maintenance and provide customer support Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them Order parts needed for repairs if needed Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers Build and maintain relationships with customers Qualifications for Drain Cleaning Tech Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job Ability to work independently without much supervision Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to effectively manage time Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply: Plumbing Experience or interest in plumbing HVAC or Other Mechanical Trades Backhoe and other large equipment operation Previously worked for Warehouses or businesses that provide plumbing equipment and fixtures such as: hardware stores, home improvement stores, plumbing showrooms, etc
