The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in remodeling and construction plumbing. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure efficient plumbing installations and repairs. The Plumbing Technician will work both independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial properties. Perform remodeling tasks that involve plumbing work, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete plumbing projects. Conduct assessments of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs. Assemble and build plumbing fixtures, ensuring proper functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and general contractors, on construction projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in plumbing, particularly in remodeling and construction plumbing. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A maintenance person background or experience as a carpenter is a plus but not required. Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
