Experience is a MUST. This is not a typical “Service Plumber” position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks. The Plumbing Technician will work both independently and as part of a team on construction sites, and in homes, ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards. The starting pay range is from $22 – $24 depending on experience. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential properties. Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on construction sites. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. Be able to accurately leak test homes. Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all plumbing work. Document all work performed for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role in the construction industry, and / or be willing to learn quickly. Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices. Experience in new construction is a plus. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
