The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform various tasks such as assembling pipes and fixtures. Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. Conduct field service calls to assess client needs and provide timely service. Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment and materials during installations or repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed on the job site. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus for project planning purposes. Experience in maintenance person services is beneficial for diverse job requirements. Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively. Welding skills are an advantage for specific plumbing tasks.
