- Installing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment, including water heaters, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing leaks, clogs, and other issues, including cleaning drains and unclogging pipes.
- Performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure they function properly and prevent future issues.
- Identifying and resolving problems in plumbing systems, including diagnosing malfunctions and implementing necessary repairs.
- Interpreting blueprints and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations and renovations.
- Utilizing a variety of tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, soldering torches, and sewer augers.
- Adhering to safety regulations and procedures when working with plumbing systems and materials.
- Communicating effectively with clients, explaining issues, and providing pricing and scheduling information.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Ordering and maintaining necessary supplies and materials for plumbing jobs.
