Homestead, FL 33031 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pump Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various pump systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. The Pump Technician will also be expected to analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair pump systems in various settings. Fabricate components as needed to ensure optimal performance of pump systems. Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess system functionality. Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pumps and associated equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance. Operate systems as necessary in conjunction with pump operations. Work with logic controllers for automated pump systems. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in irrigation and domestic pump operations. Proficiency in stick welding techniques for fabrication tasks. Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Familiarity with centrifugal and submersible pump systems and their integration with pump technology. Competence in using precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Excellent communication skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety practices.
