Difference Nature of Work:

The position is in a quarry environment, and the applicant must possess the ability to work in all types of weather conditions. This position is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and mechanical repairs of quarry plant stationary equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating and performing routine maintenance on quarry plant equipment. Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Perform basic labor functions, such as, cleaning, lifting, shoveling, and climbing Properly follow all company policies and MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. Heavy lifting required (75 to 100 lbs.) Maintain safety practices, which parallel or exceed MSHA and OSHA regulations Maintain Brox Industries safety goal of

Requirements Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and knowledge while performing hands-on troubleshooting techniques Welding and torch cutting is an asset but not required Maintenance / Mechanical experience preferred. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed. Maintain a valid driver’s license.
