PILE DRIVING GROUNDMANS GREG ORICK II MARINE CON STRUCTION INC 3710
Prospect Avenue, Naples, FL 34104 The Pile Driving Groundsman supports all field operations related to driving piles for foundational support of buildings, marine structures, and other installations. This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and critical to successful jobsite operations. Key Responsibilities Assist pile driving operators and riggers with setup, alignment, and driving of foundation piles Handle heavy materials, tools, and equipment on active construction sites Guide pile placements using levels, laser instruments, and measuring tools Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, saws, and torches Secure piles in place using rigging and tie-off techniques Maintain clear communication with equipment operators using signals and radios Perform site prep, cleanup, and routine maintenance of tools and equipment Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications Required :
Minimum 1 year of construction or field labor experience Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs., working in all weather conditions Comfortable working around heavy machinery or on barges Reliable transportation and punctuality Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred :
