CDL Driver/Rigger Position Available In Lafayette, Louisiana

MEI’s CDL Drivers are a part of a rigging crew responsible for driving equipment to customer sites and working with heavy equipment at customer plants and construction sites. Routinely hauls oversize/overweight loads. Drives safely and under DOT regulations tractor & trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites. Requires safe handling of loads, securement of loads, loading and unloading of equipment. Dismantles and store rigging equipment after use. Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment – Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor trailers, telehandlers, aerial boom lifts, etc. Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.) Experienced knowledge of load securing and safe hauling practices Ability to use tape measure; hand, power and pneumatic tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) Ten (10) years industrial experience or comparable experience within the construction service industry preferred. #CDLA #MachineryMoving #IndustrialTrades #Construction #
