Incorporated in Texas in 1966, Bo-Mac originally focused onproviding civil, pipeline and other construction services for thepetroleum exploration industry. In 1974, pile driving capabilitywas added and our primary market expanded to include constructionrelated to the oil and gas refining industry and the petrochemicalprocessing industry. Asphalt manufacturing and paving capabilitieswere added in 1985 with service primarily to the Texas Departmentof Transportation. Expansion continued in 1989 with the addition ofmarine piling and dock construction capabilities.

We areseeking qualified candidates that are focused on project successand exceeding customer expectations. Qualified candidates must beable to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all thecompany’s safety procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Performsrigging activities for setting up cranes and for hoisting equipmentand materials on construction projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Selectscables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves according toweight and size of load to be moved. Attaches pulley and blocks tofixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings and gin-polebooms with bolts and clamps. Attaches loads by means of grapplingdevices, such as slings, loops, wires, ropes and chains to cranehook. Gives directions to Crane Operator engaged in hoisting andmoving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handled usinghand signals, loudspeaker, radio or telephone. Sets up braces andrigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
Splices rope and wire cables to make or repair slings and tackle.
May direct workers engaged in hoisting of equipment and materials.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference given to candidates with a minimumof four (4) years industry related experience with a minimum one(1) year in craft. Must be able to perform work within preciselimits or standards of accuracy, make decisions based on measuredcriteria, read and understand drawings and specifications,visualize objects in three dimensions from flat drawings read,understand, and communicate safety instructions, signs and labels,be able to follow and communicate instructions, both verbally andwritten Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is an E-Verify employer and allcandidates must be willing to submit to any job related backgroundcheck, medical exam, and drug screen that are required during thehiring process.
