Wire Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Wire Engineer with hands-on experience in all aspects of building wire manufacturing, including wire draw, bunching, cabling, extrusion, electro tinplating, and rewind. The successful candidate will bring expertise in engineering and processing to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement processes with all equipment and tooling related to wire production. Collaborate closely with maintenance to ensure proper equipment functioning. Assist the quality team to ensure products meet required specifications. Recommend new equipment, fixtures, and tooling, and assist in developing work instructions for manufacturing use. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in copper and aluminum wire manufacturing. Knowledge of industry standards. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with cellular and lean manufacturing is helpful. Work Environment The work environment includes both office settings and manufacturing plant conditions. The role involves exposure to shop elements such as noise and dust.
