Wire Harness Technician Position Available In Tioga, New York

Wire Harness Technician Precision Resources Company Inc. Owego, NY 13827 We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Technician to assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on cable/harness experience who thrives in a detail-oriented, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble wire harnesses from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions. Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, reporting data in prescribed formats. Perform calibration, alignment checks, and modifications to components or devices. Operate specialized equipment and prepare chemical solutions/compounds as needed. Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience building cable/wire harnesses in aerospace, automotive, or electronics. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to hold at time of hire). Familiarity with

IPC/WHMA-A-620

standards (certification preferred but not required). Experience with crimping, soldering, multimeters, and continuity testing.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with electromechanical or optical systems. Knowledge of military/aerospace harness standards (e.g., NASA, SAE). Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. 0017230
