Rigger Operator/Crane Operator Find Great People Landrum, SC 29356 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Rigger/Crane Operator for a client in the Landrum, SC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position large machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient project completion. Responsibilities Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position loads as directed by site supervisors. Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure safe functionality. Collaborate with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety measures are in place. Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, including hours worked and materials handled. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions. Assist in the operation of additional heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, water trucks, concrete mixers, backhoes, and farm machinery as needed. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment on-site. Skills Proven experience in crane operation with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
