We are seeking experienced Riggers for full-time work in Fort Mill, SC . Ideal candidates will have prior rigging experience and the ability to safely estimate the size, weight, and center of gravity of objects in order to move them efficiently and without damage. This is a hands-on role working with cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and other lifting tackle . Experience with erecting structural steel and prefabricated panels is a major advantage. Candidates with NCCER certification are strongly encouraged to apply— credentials will be verified .
Key Responsibilities:
Estimate size, weight, and load dynamics of heavy objects Safely operate rigging equipment including winches, hoists, slings, and pulleys Assist in the lifting and movement of heavy machinery, steel beams, panels, and equipment Work closely with crane operators and field supervisors to ensure safe lifting practices Support the erection of structural steel and prefabricated panels as needed Adhere to all job site safety regulations and protocols
Requirements:
Rigging experience required (years of experience strongly preferred) Understanding of load calculations and safety factors Familiarity with rigging hardware, lifting tackle, and signaling techniques Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials in varying conditions NCCER certification is a significant plus (credentials will be verified) Reliable transportation to and from the job site Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay:
$28-$32/hour (depending on experience and certifications)
Hours:
7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday) Overtime may be available depending on project needs
Travel & Per Diem:
Some upcoming projects will require out-of-town travel .
