The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing systems and a strong understanding of construction practices. This role involves working on various commercial roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Commercial Roofer will collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Duties Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, metal roofs, and shingles. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials and equipment as required for roofing tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various roofing applications. Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify issues such as leaks or damage. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in masonry work, stucco application, concrete forming, and trim carpentry as needed on roofing projects. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment at all times. Provide input on construction estimating for project planning and budgeting. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial roofing or related construction fields. Strong skills in masonry, stucco application, concrete forming, trim carpentry, and welding are preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and work at heights safely. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
