Duties Assist in the restoration of structures, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the process. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Perform frame carpentry tasks, including building frameworks for structures. Fabricate and build components as needed for various construction projects. Participate in roofing activities, ensuring proper installation and safety measures are followed. Utilize power tools effectively and safely to complete assigned tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury. Install drywall and perform finishing tasks to prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in frame carpentry, drywall installation, and general maintenance person tasks. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. Familiarity with power tools and safety practices associated with their use. Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to collaboration on projects. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and completing tasks efficiently.
