Commercial Roofing Technician WeatherShield Roofing Group 1330 South Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Longwood, FL 32750 WeatherShield Roofing Group has provided local companies with professional and cost-efficient commercial roofing services for more than 27 years. We are looking for an experienced roof technician who is ready to part of a hard-working team. Responsibilities Perform work per WeatherShield Roofing Group standards, Manufacturer and Florida state regulations and codes Perform work in accordance with job specifications and OSHA safety guidelines. Complete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperwork Maintain professional appearance and accord Requirements/Must Have 2 years’ experience or be willing to participate in paid training Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and writing with team members and clients Knowledge of assigned roofing systems (modified, single ply, metal, coatings) Calculating material requirements and measurements Ability to lift over 40lbs and climb ladders Ability to complete paperwork Strong Time-Management and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines Demonstrate ability to organize and be detail-oriented Valid Driver’s License (to operate company vehicles) Responsible for operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment such as: vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc. Report and record all safety related injuries/accidents Drug Free Work Place Comply with OSHA requirements
