This position involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are completed safely and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of residential roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs. Load and unload roofing materials and equipment from trucks to job sites. Set up ladders, and safety equipment to ensure a secure work environment. Remove old roofing materials, such as shingles, underlayment, and debris. Prepare roof surfaces by cleaning, patching, and applying primers or sealants as needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the roofing team. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment. Assist with cleanup and disposal of debris at job sites. Qualifications Previous experience in roofing, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working at heights. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing. Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus. Must be 18 years or older.
