Civil Field Technician NextEdge Networks Holdings LLC 335 Wilbanks Drive, Ball Ground, GA 30107

Job Summary/Objective:

Possesses general working knowledge of equipment and safety procedures required in the construction, repair and maintenance of towers and accompanying structures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Obtain and sustain required certifications and training requirements Assist with site preparation and completion Utilize PPE in compliance with EHS requirements and industry standards Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established company safety policies and procedures Perform routine construction related activities such as pulling a rope, climbing ladders, using common hand tools, manual digging with a shovel, cable handling, and general clean up Utilizes equipment to perform the duties of clearing and grading, excavation, and building at construction sites, especially EV charging stations. Uses excavating machinery to dig pads and prepare sub-grades related to structural/flatwork concrete and trenches related to equipment pads and laying conduit for underground utilities. Stock and organize truck with materials to ensure adequate supply for daily work assignments Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures (i.e timesheet, truck report, expense report) Operates construction, excavation, and hauling equipment including backhoes, skid-steers, mini-excavators, gradalls, asphalt rollers, and dump trucks. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

CFT II 1+ year of CX experience (basic knowledge of industry practices, the CX process, critical thinking skills)

Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalent Valid Drivers License and ability to fulfil DOT req. OSHA 10 Construction experience preferred Additional Security Regulations• (For some sites) Gov. clearance as required

Skills Required:

Familiar with Microsoft office suite, and comfortable using various software Proven ability to define and meet individual and team project goals. Must be able to read construction drawings and perform related duties according to the plan designs and specifications. Ability to take direction, be self-motivated and have a willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a team environment Experienced with careful digging near/around existing underground infrastructure. Comfortable working in areas of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required:

Ability to work in all weather conditions except for unsafe or extreme weather conditions. Travel can be required more than 50% of the time Ability to carry loads in excess of 50 pounds.
