Job Description
Responsibilities include the following:
Basic to intermediate sheetrock skills (repair damaged drywall, hang new drywall, mud/tape/sand, etc.)
Be on time and in proper uniform
Be able to complete a variety of carpentry/handy-worker tasks
Be able to communicate with customer on job scope and pricing
Demonstrate a consistent level of professionalism
Be able to maintain job site cleanliness
Be able to adapt to change as needed to complete jobs
Be able to maintain a positive attitude
Be able to obtain tools necessary to complete jobs when needed
Be able to communicate with supervisor on job status
Ability to drive a company vehicle and follow guidelines set by company policies
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements/Education:
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED
Applicants must have 1 – 3 years experience in the construction/handy-worker field
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a record that meets Estes standards for insurability to drive a company vehicle
Technical competencies:
Experience working with hand and power tools
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
Ability to compile an accurate material list for completion of jobs
Competencies Required:
Ability to work in changing weather environments such as heat, cold, rain, etc.
Ability to work in tight or small spaces such as crawlspaces and attics
Ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work in a timely fashion to complete jobs in a timely manner
