GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Completing thorough and accurate take-offs of architectural millwork primarily in residential construction. The role requires a natural ability to be resilient with a professional approach. Effective communication skills are essential. Dedication to customer service, quality control and safety. Employee is expected to represent the company with the highest level of integrity, character, professionalism, courtesy and ethics. 100% travel, 60 mile radius of Atlanta.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and understand all contract documents. After determining scope, complete accurate and detailed take-offs. Communicate with Builders and Subcontractors in a professional manner. Maintain accurate travel logs and expense reports.

EDUCATION & TRAINING OSHA

safety training upon hiring. Basic math skills. Use and read a tape measure correctly. Proficient with technology (computers, iPads, smartphones, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

New home & general construction building codes. Detailed understanding of all construction documents and standards related to the millwork industry. Interior trim installation. OSHA safety standards. Knowledge and understanding of blueprints.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Good communication skills. High level of detail orientation. Effective time management and organizational skills. Self-disciplined and self-motivated. Safety Oriented. The ability to work independently, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines. Must be organized with good communication skills. Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple team members. Physical ability to handle all trim materials and products including lumber and doors.

WORKING CONDITIONS HOURS / SHIFTS

40+ hours per week. Willing to work overtime as needed. HOURLY Starting pay $18.00 per hour, negotiable upon experience.
