The owner is always on-site and takes pride in training and working alongside the team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Worker’s Assistant to join our team. This role will work directly with the owner on active job sites and will assist in all aspects of construction—from framing and demolition to finish work. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skill set while working alongside an experienced builder in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Please note:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Workers are responsible for managing their own taxes and insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with demolition, framing, siding, and finish carpentry Support installation of roofing, windows, and doors Assist with deck and porch construction Run tools and materials to and from the work area Help with site prep, clean-up, and debris removal Support plumbing and electrical rough-ins and finish work Communicate clearly with the team and follow direction Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Be punctual, respectful, and ready to work hard every day

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Basic construction knowledge and hands-on experience preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/heights when needed Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail Must be legal to work in the U.S. Tools Required (Must Own Personally): Punch Tape measure Utility knife Tin snips Speed square Torpedo level Nail punch Phillips head screwdriver Flathead screwdriver Small pair of pliers ( Additional tools may be recommended as needed. Specialty equipment and job-specific tools will be provided on-site. )
