The ideal candidate will have experience in various excavation techniques and equipment operation, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. This role involves working in diverse environments and requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in excavation. Duties Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, skid-steers, dozers, and loaders for excavation tasks. Perform excavation as required for utility installation and site preparation. Execute precise digging and backfilling operations to meet project specifications. Safely transport materials using dump trucks while adhering to traffic regulations. Collaborate with team members to build and maintain excavation sites, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks on the job site. Qualifications Familiarity with excavation techniques is preferred. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
