Gutter Installer Complete Roofing Systems Sugar Grove, PA 16350
Job Overview :
The Gutter Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gutters and downspouts for residential and commercial properties. This role requires working at heights, using various hand tools and equipment, and ensuring proper drainage to protect buildings from water damage. The installer must be able to follow safety protocols and work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
Install Gutters and Downspouts :
Measure, cut, and fit gutters and downspouts to the specifications of the building. Secure them using appropriate fasteners and ensure they are properly aligned for optimal water flow.
Inspect and Repair Existing Gutters :
Assess the condition of existing gutter systems, identify damage or blockages, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure Proper Water Flow :
Maintain the correct slope and angle of the gutters to prevent water from pooling or overflowing.
Safety Compliance :
Use safety equipment such as harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding to ensure safe working conditions, especially when working at heights. Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
Customer Interaction :
Communicate effectively with clients to discuss project details, and ensure their needs are met. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude.
Maintain Tools and Equipment :
Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order. Perform basic maintenance and report any issues with tools or machinery to the supervisor. Work in
Various Weather Conditions :
Install and maintain gutters in diverse weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy environments.
Team Collaboration :
Work alongside other installers, supervisors, or contractors to ensure the project is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Clean Job Site :
Keep the worksite tidy, removing debris and excess materials after installation to maintain a safe and organized environment.

Education & Experience :
High School Diploma or GED :
Required.
Prior Experience :
Previous experience in construction, roofing, or gutter installation is preferred but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to work at heights (on ladders & roofs). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods of time.
Work Environment :
