The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing techniques and be capable of working on diverse roofing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools. The Roofing professional will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and durability of roofing installations. Duties Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and flat roofs. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete roofing tasks. Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights. Experience Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus. Ability to perform trim carpentry tasks as needed. Experience in welding may be beneficial for specific roofing applications. Strong understanding of plumb and level measurements in construction settings. Previous experience working on construction sites is essential.
