US Associate Director of Roofing Summary/Objective :
This position is responsible for roofing service work for a diverse portfolio of industrial, office, retail, and residential properties. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. Essential Functions Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair roof leaks Perform roof maintenance including ensuring that roof drains are not stopped up and are freely flowing Supervise contractors Unload materials, clean roofs, and apply roofing material Spud roofs Competencies Initiative Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships Time Management Decision Making Communication Proficiency Organization and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to understand written and verbal instruction Travel Some travel is required; most travel is local. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job requires working in commercial spaces including but not limited to industrial, warehouse, and office environments. This position will require working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very hot to very cold with rain to very hot and humid. This may include confined locations. Experience with commercial low slope roofs Skilled in TPO roofs Working Hours Typical workweek is forty (40) hours per week. Work hours are from 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, position may require long hours. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position.
