Friday Job Description:
The Nashville, Tennessee branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Commercial Roofing Waterproofing Technician! This person is responsible for the proper installation and application of waterproofing systems on commercial buildings and structures. This role involves working with a variety of materials and methods including fluid-applied membranes, sheet membranes, sealants, coatings, and expansion joints. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and safety, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a crew in varying field conditions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare job sites and surfaces for waterproofing applications, including cleaning, priming, and detailing. Install waterproofing systems per manufacturer specifications and project drawings. Apply fluid and sheet membranes, sealants, and other waterproofing products using hand and power tools. Assist in the setup and operation of pumps, sprayers, rollers, and other application equipment. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with Foreman, Superintendent, and fellow crew members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Follow all jobsite protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Identify and report potential issues or material needs to the supervisor promptly. Consistently deliver exceptional workmanship and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Prior experience in commercial waterproofing or roofing is preferred but not required—on-the-job training is available. Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work plans, and manufacturer guidelines. Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments. Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed and work extended hours, including weekends, when required. Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in roofing applications. Work effectively within a team environment and maintain strong interpersonal relationships. Commitment to punctuality and preparedness, arriving on time for all shifts equipped with the necessary personal tools and PPE. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving background.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
2+ years of commercial waterproofing experience Bilingual (including English) OSHA 10 hour or 30 Hour Card (or willingness to obtain) Aerial Man Lift and Forklift Certified CDL certification First Aid / CPR certification Why Eskola, LLC?
