The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes, particularly in sign making environments. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with precision tools. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality components that meet industry standards and specifications. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication. Operate welding equipment, including stick welding, to join metal parts according to established codes and standards. Utilize sheet metal techniques to fabricate components as per project specifications. Perform soldering tasks as needed for assembly and repairs. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances. Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal sheets. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Requirements Proven experience in fabrication with sign making preferably in a construction site environment. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, particularly stick welding. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to fabrication processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience working with sheet metal and operating press brake machines is preferred. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
