Lead Welding Specialist Soucy Industries Inc. Pelham, NH 03076 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for various metal types. Perform plasma cutting to shape materials as per project needs. Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines. Conduct machining operations as necessary to achieve precise dimensions. Operate cranes safely to move heavy materials and components during the fabrication process. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate assembly. Experience with plasma cutting and FCAW welding techniques. Strong knowledge of using hand tools and operating a press brake machine. Familiarity with ductwork fabrication processes is a plus. Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools for precise measurements. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
