- $28•32 Based on Experience compensation: $28•$32 employment type: job title: Sheet Metal Mechanic Mechanical Contractor looking for experienced, Apprentice & Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic for Commercial/Industrial work in Chambersburg, Hagerstown and Martinsburg, .
Will be placed closest to your home. Must have a valid drivers license, own transportation, have at least 2/3 years experience commercial duct installation experience, fabrication, install and repair sheet metal duct work. Installing spiral and square duct, rigid, fiberglass ductboard, knowledge of setting roof units, and curbs. Electrical/start up and Ability to read and interpret prints is a plus. Must maintain your own hand tools and work with safety in mind at all times.
SUMMARY:
Construction install performs related work as assigned. The more diverse a person’s experience the more valuable they will be to the team. Commercial sheet metal installation has knowledge of finishing and are familiar with using prints and drawings (fab sheets).
