The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various fabrication techniques. This role involves working with sheet metal and other materials to create high-quality components based on blueprints and specifications. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet our stringent quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements. Fabricate components using welding techniques, including soldering and other metal joining methods. Work with sheet metal to build structures, frames, and other components as required. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in measurements and cuts. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve processes. Experience Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication tools and equipment. Familiarity with welding techniques and sheet metal work is essential. Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively. Basic math skills for accurate measurement and calculation are required. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
