Sheet Metal Fabricator Airport Heating and Cooling West Columbia, SC 29169 Overview We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in metal fabrication processes. This role involves working with various materials, primarily sheet metal, to fabricate and assemble components for HVAC construction projects. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards and precision in all tasks. Duties Operate press brake machines to shape and form metal components according to specifications. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to install fabricated materials as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process to ensure timely project completion. Requirements Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication tools and machinery effectively. Familiarity with construction site environments and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
