Overview:
We are the premier Commercial Kitchen Ventilation System contractor in the State of Vermont, and we are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Fabricate sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and bend metal
- Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Operate machinery such as power brakes, plasma table, and power shear
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Travel to customer locations to install the fabricated products
Skills:
- Proficient in Sheet Metal Fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools and operating machinery for cutting, shaping, and bending metal
- Some knowledge/experience with construction methods
