Job Summary:

Bison Roofing & Solar is a pioneer in the home services industry. We help homeowners beautify and protect their homes with an energy efficient tile, metal, shingle or flat roof replacement. And we also help provide energy independence with a new solar and battery system—all with a Better Business Bureau rating of A+. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The Solar Installer will be responsible for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of solar technology, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation manuals to ensure proper installation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise during the project.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, materials used, and any discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding the installation process and addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in solar installation or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in solar installation or construction preferred, but entry-level candidates with relevant skills will be considered.
• Strong understanding of solar energy systems and electrical concepts.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 80 lbs) and perform physical labor.
• Comfortable working on roofs and at heights.
