Solar Installer Based On Talent Oakland Park, FL Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and construction practices to ensure the efficient and safe installation of solar panels. The Solar Installer will work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality installations that meet customer expectations. Responsibilities Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of solar panel installations. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation processes. Conduct electrical work, including fixture installation, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Perform high voltage connections and troubleshooting as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety regulations at all times. Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed for transporting materials on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics. Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and NEC regulations. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety practices. Familiarity with using voltmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. Competence in using various power tools related to installation tasks. Ability to perform fixture installations accurately and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
