• That Mobile RV Guy is a fully mobile solar installer specializing in marine, RV, and off-grid solar installations.

We are a family owned business based out of Green Cove Springs, FL with a primary operating area in the Southwest Central Florida area. We started doing RV repair and inspections in 2019 and have been doing solar installations since 2022. Our primary service areas include the area surrounding Tampa to Orlando to Lake Whales to Port Charlotte. Because we are fully mobile, that means we travel to the customer wherever they are. We will frequently bring the customer to the Wauchula, FL area to do work. Our solar installers are vital to That Mobile RV Guy. Our recent growth in client interest has created an opportunity for us to seek more solar installers in order to better serve our customers. Responsibilities

• Install solar system in accordance with American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC)standards using schematic drawings and instructions Assemble solar panel support structures as specified Apply weather sealant to solar panel support structures mounted to RV roofs Size, measure, cut and crimp lugs on cables and wires between solar system components Securely and safely mount solar system components Identify electrical and safety hazards associated with solar system components Integrate solar system components into existing electrical RV and marine electrical systems Test, program, and troubleshoot solar systems and components Interact with client(s) to explain parts or entirety of solar system Help maintain supply lists and stocking of the work trailer and keep the work trailer cleaned and organized Requirements•Knowledge of basic electrical tools•wire crimper, wire stripper, torque wrench, drill, screwdriver, voltmeter, etc Able to read and understand wire schematics, electrical instructions Knowledge of basic trades•electrical, carpentry, metalwork Able to test voltages from 12v-250vDC and 120vAC Able to receive and follow instructions Able to interact with other people in a polite and professional manner Basic tool bag a plus (but not required) Travel and some weekend work may be required Solar installation experience and familiarity with automotive, marine and RV systems a plus Excellent time management and organizational skills Physical Requirements•Must have valid FL drivers license and reliable personal vehicle Able to climb a ladder Able to work on heights above 10 ft Able to bend, crawl, and work in tight and confined spaces, sometimes on ceilings Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs Able to work in 100+ degree weather Pay and Benefits•This is a part-time independent contractor position.

Flexible work schedule. Starting pay is $20-30 based on experience. Some travel reimbursements are available. Possible future full-time employment opportunities available. Tools will be provided. Access to discounted RV/marine equipment. Opportunity for technical training and certifications.
