Fort Myers, FL 33913 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar and Home Battery Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate can prove experience working for a solar installation company, and will be responsible for the installation of solar energy and battery systems on residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, National Electrical Code (NEC), Florida Building Code (FBC) and safety protocols. As a Solar Installer, you will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that installations are completed efficiently, aesthetically and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. We are a Florida licensed roofing and electrical contractor thsat is Tesla Certified Energy Installer and primarily focus on installing Tesla Powerwall, solar panels, and Tesla Solar Roof. Duties Install solar panels, energy storage systems and related equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Perform electrical work including wiring, fixture installation, and connection to high voltage systems. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code (FBC) during all installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various installation tasks. Conduct site assessments to evaluate structural integrity and suitability for solar installations. Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols at all times. blueprints, line diagrams and schematics effectively. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a construction environment. Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety practices related to electrical installations is essential.
