Construction Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced O&M Solar Field Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that the solar power plants are operating at optimal efficiency through scheduled preventive maintenance and timely corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on utility-scale or commercial solar PV systems. Conduct field inspections, system performance testing, and diagnostics to identify faults and inefficiencies. Monitor system performance via SCADA or monitoring software and report anomalies. Replace defective modules, inverters, fuses, or other components as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and use of appropriate PPE. Coordinate with the O&M Manager and remote monitoring team to prioritize tasks. Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of solar field components. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors as needed.
