This means employing the highest-quality people! Cape Fear Solar Systems is looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentice to work with our Master Electrician. Must have at least 1 year of electrical experience making connections and running conduits. A professional attitude is a must.

Pay:

$20-$25 Compensation is based on experience. After 90 days of employment, you’ll be eligible for our performance-based bonus program and a review that may include a potential pay increase.

Requirements:

Safety is a must! This role requires knowledge of safety protocols and work practices in accordance with OSHA, NFPA, state, and local codes to ensure high safety standards during all phases of the installation Must have at least 1 year of relevant working experience (electrical experience making connections and running conduit) Solar Photovoltaic NABCEP® Entry Level Exam preferred Strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems Familiarity with blueprints and system drawings Must be able to lift 50lbs Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.) Comfortable working on elevated surfaces, must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and able to work on your feet for long periods of time OSHA certification preferred Refined customer service mentality Positive ‘can-do’ attitude Problem-solving skills Reliable, honest, and hardworking Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background screening Advanced interest in renewable energy technologies Cape Fear Solar Systems is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
