The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including rooftops and construction sites. The Solar Installer will ensure that all installations are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. Duties Install solar panel systems according to project specifications and schematics. Perform low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required for system integration. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions for solar panel installation. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on construction sites to minimize risks. Qualifications Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of electrical systems, including both low voltage and high voltage applications. Familiarity with fixture installation techniques and best practices. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations. Ability to work at heights on roofs safely and confidently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
